Lei is a third-year Communications student with an emphasis in Entertainment & Tourism. This is their third year with ETC, and their first year on the board after previously being a committee member of the PR team.

 

Having managed fan accounts during childhood with no internet supervision, Lei developed a strong passion for the entertainment industry. From a young age, they engaged in fan spaces for artists such as One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer.

Lei's passion for the entertainment industry has been a constant throughout their life.  In fifth grade, when asked about their dream job, they confidently said Buzzfeed journalist. They hope to get into talent management or roles in the industry that are specifically focused on DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion), as culture and identity are very important to them.

Within their time in ETC, Lei has experienced a magnitude of opportunities. Lei was able to co-moderate the Video Game Panel during the Spring 2025 semester, and was very fortunate enough to volunteer as a Talent escort for the 2025 American Music Awards and 2025 Kids' Choice Awards.

In their free time, Lei loves to explore new restaurants, cafes, travel, and follow interesting recipes.
